Class incorporates a series of postures connected by breath and vigorous movement. Class is designed for students to build strength, vitality and full body awareness (even down to the cellular level). Teacher will be focusing on core integration, alignment, balance and a since of ease and comfort within the poses. We encourage mindful breathing throughout entire class. Our hope is each student leaves this class with a sharper mental focus, physically stronger, emotionally calmer and has a greater awareness of the present moment.

Hi, I’m Lisa
I’m a mother of four daughters, began practicing yoga in my previous desert home, Tucson Arizona, in the fall of 1999. Following a few years of vigorous practice and study, my family and I moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, in early 2002. I began teaching yoga in church community spaces in Irvington for the next 5 years. Then, landed at my yoga studio home, Cityoga School of Yoga and Health, teaching many weekly classes, workshops, and teacher training offerings, since 2008. My teaching style is eclectic, artistic, and rooted in deep compassion, presence and life force. I’m a storyteller, a musician, a wise sequencer, and a savasana specialist. In addition to offering classes, my husband Brett and I lead yoga retreats to Sedona, Arizona and Lake Atitlan Guatemala. I’m also a doula and strongly supports women through an empowered pregnancy and childbirth.
